This is the top level of Wikipedia's category system. Its subcategories contain various types of encyclopaedic content (e.g. articles and glossaries), content that assists with the navigation of the encyclopaedia (e.g. indexes and portals), as well as pages related to the maintenance of the encyclopaedia (e.g. Wikipedia administration and WikiProjects).
